We were shooting at the Focus Springfield Studio in Downtown Springfield today. The shoot: Springfield Public Schools “Stay In School” TV spots. United Way of Pioneer Valley is part of this campaign and we all had a great time putting this thing together. We had a small but solid crew today that were down for anything, even if that meant jumping in and getting in front of the camera! That’s the kind of crew I love!
We were recently invited to talk to a classroom full of kids at St. Michael’s Academy in Springfield to talk about what we do. We told them that we make TV commercials, promotional videos and sometimes short movies and documentaries. Instead of explaining how we do it, we thought it would be cool to make a film with them right there on the spot! Our star of the movie was a little girl who had magical powers that enabled her to make the other kids disappear! The kids loved it and were really engaged the whole time! Might be something we take on the road! 😉
Here is the video we created. It’s a little rough around the edges but give us a break, we did it in under 20 minutes!
Our ad in this issue of BusinessWest. It’s the 40 Under 40 issue and we will be producing the sponsor videos for the event. Can’t wait.
Chris interviewing Mayor Sarno of Springfield, MA for a Develop Springfield video series that we produced. We set up a green screen at The Creative Strategy Agency office in Downtown Springfield at One Financial Plaza, 1350 Main Street. Instant studio in a pinch!

We were at the Bay Path Women’s Leadership Conference at the Mass Mutual Center in Downtown Springfield recently to produce a promotional film for the event. This was way bigger than I thought! I didn’t know that this type of event was right in our backyard! Gloria Estefan was the keynote speaker but there were many other great talks. Robert Charles Photography was there shooting some great stills and Zasco Productions was putting on the show with massive dual projection screens and awesome lighting. These guys are good!
We were shooting at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA this weekend to produce a promotional film for the Franchise & Own Your Own Business Show. The show was put on by Toronto based National Event Management. It was cool to see some very recognizable brands there like 7 Eleven, Little Caeser’s, Johnny Rockets as well as some great new franchise opportunities. One of the great aspects of our job is getting to meet talented and motivated people from all industries and all over the world!
We shot some interviews today for a new promotional / informational film for Tech Foundry in Downtown Springfield. Check out what they do at www.techfoundry.org
So this was a surprise! I was recently interviewed for a possible article in BusinessWest Magazine, a popular business publication in Western Massachusetts. I didn’t realize they were going to give me the cover though! I am very honored. Read the full story here.
